LifeCard stores all your data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on our servers.
LifeCard does not collect any personal information. All data you enter — including your name, medical information, emergency contacts, medications, and insurance details — is stored exclusively on your device using iOS local storage.
Your data is used solely to display your emergency profile within the app and its widgets. We do not:
LifeCard requests access to your location only when you tap "Nearest Emergency Room." Your location is used solely to open Apple Maps with nearby hospitals. It is never stored or transmitted by LifeCard.
LifeCard requests access to your photo library only when you choose to add a profile photo. Your photo is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted externally.
When a family member uses the "Set Up For Someone" feature, profile information is encoded into a URL link shared via your chosen messaging app. LifeCard does not transmit or store this data — it is passed directly between devices through your messaging service.
If you enable medication reminders, LifeCard uses iOS local notifications generated on your device. No external servers are involved.
Your data is protected by iOS device encryption. We recommend using a device passcode or Face ID/Touch ID to prevent unauthorized access.
LifeCard does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
